First things first ... I think I need to start off here by saying, up front: I am no artist. Disclaimers are important, after all!

You won't find the type of incredible art here that you were lucky enough to see in the other fanart sections of this gallery. Here, you will find a sort of chronicle of my adventures in learning how to make fancels. And let me tell you -- it has been (and continues to be) a very long learning process! I don't expect I'll ever be as good at these as the artists I admire so much. And, really, I'm not shooting for that lofty goal. I just want to have fun with these and try my best to see a little improvement with each new piece. As long as I can accomplish those goals, I feel like I'm doing quite all right.

This section is kind of a mixed bag. I usually do several sets of lines and, then, they sit for a while before I can get to painting them. So, sometimes you'll just see linework in here. Later, when the painting is complete, I'll replace the linework with the finished cel. Hence the kind of patchwork look to this section.

Comments, too, will vary. Sometimes there will be fangirl rantings. Sometimes there will be a lessons learned section. And sometimes, there won't be anything other than the show, character name, and source. Messy, I know ... but there 'ya have it. =)

In general, items appear in reverse order here, based on the order in which I made the lines. So, first things I made are at the back of the section, and the newer things are at the front.
