They Could Save Me ... Anytime ...
Jouichiro is the resident hothead on the S.T.A.N.D. team. "Gifted" with an overly cocky personality, Jou immediately hates Serge with a passion. Needless to say, he and Serge clash many times over the course of the show, but, in the end, Jouichiro comes to believe in Serge's abilities. And, he seems to be one of Serge's biggest supporters. Could it be they are ... friends? I'm sure Jou would say otherwise, but I think they are, when all is said and done.
Macus is S.T.A.N.D.'s second-in-command and the team's field combat leader. A genius at strategy, he leads with a calm and confident manner -- a contrast in every way to Jouichiro. Underneath it all, however, there is a dark, scheming side to Macus's personality. He is Raven's younger brother, and it seems he might be tired of living in his older sibling's shadow. Eventually, Macus makes a play to take control of S.T.A.N.D and Serge's unique abilities, but, in the end, even he realizes that only Serge can defeat Virus ... and no one can control Serge.
