Oh so pretty ... and yet, so, so bad ...
Sadly, Reload/Gunlock is bereft of godly presence. Yep ... that's right. No gods. And, in particular, no Shien.
*takes a moment of silence to mourn Shien's passing*
But, what it lacks in godly powers, Reload/Gunlock more than makes up for in villianous ne'er do wells, boasting some of the nuttiest villian bastards ever to grace the anime screen.
Kamisama ... who helps himself to Sanzo's sutra in a misguided attempt to achieve Sanzo status, and, yet, for all his villianous tendencies, still plays with toys. Lots of toys.
Hazel ... who dresses like some kind of bad urban cowboy remake, right down to the Native American sidekick, and has an unholy Sanzo fascination. Oh yeah ... that boy takes stalking to the extreme.
And, don't forget Ukoku Sanzo ... who ends up being -- well, I'll leave that for you to figure out on your own. It's too big of a spoiler to reveal here. But, let's just say he ends up as nutty and creepy as he started out.
Oh yeah ... these guys make Homura look downright sane. And, that's saying something!
