Flame of Recca - Mikagami

A heart of ice, burning for revenge ...
Tokiya Mikagami ... the ice man, and, in some ways, probably the strongest fighter among the Hokage. He and Recca did go head-to-head in the beginning of the show, and Mikagami lost ... but I'm writing that one up as a fluke. Not that I'm partial or biased or anything like that. Not that I love Mikagami or anything like that. No ... because that would be wrong ... wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.
Ahem ... anyhow ... to the business at hand --- Mikagami-senpai. The wielder of the water sword, Ensui, Mikagami has dedicated his life to learning to use this weapon. His beloved older sister was murdered right in front of him, and, after witnessing that, he hardened his heart, refusing to care for anyone else and living only to take revenge for his sister's death. He is drawn into Rekka's circle almost against his will, and agrees to fight in order to protect Yanagi, who reminds him of his sister, and because he thinks it will lead him closer to the answers he seeks about her death. Once he joins the group, though, he finds himself caring about the people around him, despite his best efforts not to.
Needless to say, my heart belongs to Mikagami. Why is it that I always have a thing for the anti-social, dysfunctional guys? Oh wait ... what am I saying? They're bishies ... they're all angsty, anti-social, and, on some level, dysfunctional. But, they are pretty ... with great hair.
